Asociación del Nuevo Amanecer (ANADESA): School supplies from ANADESA
Interview with a Successful Teenager about the importance of receiving school supplies.
The delivery of school supplies indicates a new learning cycle and I am so excited because I will start attending classes again, seeing my teachers and my friends after a long break.
If I didn't receive support from ANADESA, my mother and I would have to work more than we currently do to be able to generate money and be able to buy my supplies, and that would be complicated because I have 4 siblings and we have to give them what they need and the state of health of my mom would be affected by being overloaded with work.
However, ANADESA's support is a hand for us to continue weaving my future.
My mother's name is Susana and she does beadwork.
My name is Evelyn Vásquez Sambrano, I am 16 years old and this year I am going to attend the second year at the Secondary Institute for the IMEBC Tzanchaj Teaching Cooperative.
My dream is to graduate as a physical education teacher and to support the most needy people in my community.
I am originally from Nebaj Quiché but due to my father's work we moved to live in Tzanchaj, Santiago Atitlán.
