You can make a difference in Santiago Atitlán
by supporting Pueblo a Pueblo
-
\DUCATION FUND
When you sponsor a student through the Pueblo a Pueblo Education Scholarships project, you are helping Pueblo a Pueblo facilitate access to education for students who would otherwise be unable to attend school.
Your support will help students' families meet all costs associated with school enrollment, including uniforms, school supplies, and administrative fees.
We also partner with a local health clinic to provide participating students with subsidized medical services when needed. We work closely alongside participants' families and teachers to identify and address any further barriers to students attending and excelling in school.
-
MOTHER CHILD WELLNESS FUND
When you sponsor a mother and child through the Pueblo a Pueblo Maternal Child Health project, you help our team improve healthcare access among mothers and children during the most vulnerable periods of pregnancy and early childhood.
We partner with a local clinic to provide participating mothers and their children with culturally conscious preventative and curative health care during the mother’s pregnancy and the child’s first two years of life. Pregnant women enrolled in the project receive subsidized pre and post natal care as well as medical support during labor and delivery. Our team also leads educational workshops on topics related to reproductive health and child development to encourage healthy habits among project participants.

GENERAL FUND AND SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOODS
Pueblo a Pueblo’s name can be interpreted as “village to village” or “people to people”. They are a bridge between local and international supporters and the indigenous families of Guatemala.
Pueblo a Pueblo collaborates with community members to build individual and community capacities and contribute to a future that includes health, education, and sustainable incomes.
These funds will sustain Pueblo a Pueblo’s operating costs and contribute to the ongoing projects that train future leaders, empower community members, and build sustainable communities in and around Santiago Atitlán.
